After reading the lyrics to both these songs, I still think what I do about him. I understand that he’s a kid who’s trying to live life without seriousness. I understand that he’s come from a troubled place, and I respect that. I do not, however, condone the use of these things as excuses for his behavior. I still think he’s propagating a larger societal problem.
